Seizure Action Plan

There are general steps to help someone who is experiencing any type of seizure. Still, people living with CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder need a customized plan based on their medical history. A Seizure Action Plan is a tool to clearly communicate the appropriate steps to take in an emergency – at home, in the community, or at school.

The Epilepsy Foundation has seizure action plan information, including templates (in multiple languages) on their website: Seizure Preparedness and Safety / Seizure Action Plans

Seizure Action Plan Awareness Week, an effort launched by a coalition led by LGS Foundation, Dravet Syndrome Foundation, and Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, also has seizure action planning resources available.
